Salves and Infusions
Herbal salve is easy to make using infused oils and beeswax. The type of salve you are making will depend on the type of infused oil you are using. We will be using a variety of infused oils made from herbs and plants from my garden. I will show you how to make the infusions as well as the salves for you to take home.
The herbs we will use are those which have been successfully used down through the centuries for their skin healing benefits. The herbs for salve are steeped directly in the oil and the recipes contain no water. The shelf life of salve is quite long. The salves can be used on all family members even the family pets.
